IridiumGroup maintained a long and successful relationship with The Nature Conservancy that began when we were selected to relaunch the organization’s magazine, Nature Conservancy, considered an important benefit of membership. Our work to understand the readers’ needs resulted in a change to the frequency of the publication to four times annually. Editorial pages were added, new sections were created, and the quality of photography became a critical component. New paper and finishes were selected and the bindery was converted to square back to encourage a greater level of retention and collectability.

We developed a comprehensive, timeless new design for the publication. Award-winning photographers were introduced and deployed to Mexico, South America, and China to document new land, coastal harbors, and properties that the organization had acquired and preserved. Through elegant, sophisticated use of color and typography, we designed a more emotional appeal for the publication and successfully delivered an upscale and sophisticated, but warm and approachable, experience for all members.

Member feedback was overwhelmingly positive, donations increased, and our team was subsequently asked to lead a global rebranding initiative for the organization.
